About Grace Wilmshurst

I draw influence from my rural childhood memories. My current body of work explores the darker undertones between agriculture and nature. I play with the concept of the past permeating the present and our interconnectedness of the natural and artificial worlds. Oil paint is my medium, I love how I can push and pull it around the canvas to create strokes that satisify up close and as a composition from afar.
