About Giulia Madonia

  • Biography
After attending the High School of Art I moved onto European Institute of Design in Rome and graduated in illustration.
During the following years my interest shifted to interior décor and I started to create handmade accents.
After partecipating in several international Home Decor fairs in Milan, Florence, Monaco, Paris ( Macef, Mida, Maison et Object, Foire International de Monaco), I focused on a more art oriented production.
My work is always somehow inspired by nature.
I focus on a particular organic texture, on wood, bark, vegetables, animal or the shape of a rock and I bring it in the circumscripted space of an artwork.
I like to create patina on metal finishes since the oxydation is always unpredictable, different and unique.

Through my website I collaborate with clients, art consultants and interior designers, creating bespoke pieces of art custom designed for each project.
