About GITTI gv

  • Biography

"Growing up in a quiet household with deaf parents—and navigating my own hearing challenges—language didn’t exactly become my best friend, but  my eyes and imagination did. While others were chatting away, I was busy mastering the art of observation, finding stories in glances, gestures, and the world’s small, beautiful details. This gift of quiet observation has become my daily habit, fuelling my creativity every step of the way.

Today, painting and drawing are my favourite ways to express myself; colours, shapes, subject and maybe a little bit of whimsy, it is all important to me. These mediums allow me to communicate the depth of my observations in ways that my words cannot capture. It’s like having a conversation with the canvas, where everything I’ve observed comes alive, often exaggerating elements to convey the intensity of my experiences.

My art translates the vibrancy of what I’ve experienced growing up in a silent, yet profoundly rich in other forms of expressions world. I strive to create pieces that radiate emotions, inspire smiles, hopes, serenity. My goal? To show that even in the quietest moments, there’s endless beauty worth sharing—and that seeing the world differently is often where the magic begins."
