About Gill Bedson

  • Biography
I am based in Suffolk, living on a farm with my partner and two dogs.
Building on my graduate and post-graduate study in fine art I am currently working with acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas, exploring the expression of emotion and feelings. I am using limitations to help me express feelings, limitations in colour and time, tools for mark making etc.
These limitations help to keep on track and not be overwhelmed by the vast number of options there are in making art. My limitations change with each series I paint.
I also make original prints using woodcut or etching to produce the image.
