    Working from a rough, quickly taken photograph and then through photo software, ideas began to appear. I begin to look for relationships, patterns, foreground, mid and background. In each of my paintings I am looking to reduce the number of colours.

    Here in Wales each day offers a new opportunity. There are mountains, hills and flatlands. Sun, rain, wind, snow, frost ever changing. We have sand, rock, beach, mountains, hills, smooth and rugged. ...... I forgot to mention the sunsets in the West!
