About Fiona J Robinson

  • Biography
I am mainly a self taught artist, with my highest achievement being in A-level Textiles at college. I have always been creative for as long as I can remember, having my fingers in loads of creative pies! As a child I started with pencil drawing, which was my first love, drawing portraits of famous people out of magazines. I gradually moved onto textiles at college, where I found my love of different textures and metallics, I think this is where I first started to find my own sense of artistic style. I have also dabbled in photography from time to time too!
I have come to realise over the years that I need to do something creative, I had all these ideas in my head with no outlet so I started painting in 2009 with the idea of trying to sell. I hadn't really painted much before, which I found daunting, but with perseverance and mistakes, I started selling paintings on-line on a famous auction site.
I work part time (in a proper job!!) and painting is my hobby. I would love to become a full time artist in the future, so I am keeping my creative fingers cross, because you just never know.
I hope you like my paintings which I think are unique, and you would like to own one to put on your wall.
