Overall I am happy with the art. On arrival, it did not look like the painting I had bid on, since on the site, the lighting over the painting gave a different image to it, I soon realised the image of the painting is impacted by the lighting in the room, which makes me go back to it for more inspiration.

I try my very best to photograph my paintings to create the most accurate image possible. I agree with you that a painting is impacted by the lighting in a room and also if it is daylight or artificial light. I also think that images can vary when viewed on different monitors. I love this piece! There is so much more texture and detail than I was expecting and I'd already known it was beautiful. The artist was wonderful to communicate with. I will probably frame it eventually, so it doesn't get lost next to the big piece next to it. But having it on stretched canvas – so I could hang it immediately was a big bonus for me. Thank you!!
