About Edit Fenyvesi

  • Biography
Since my early childhood I have been interested in drawing and painting, then I started my studies at the art high school of my hometown, where I graduated as a painter and sculptor. Afterwards I studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Kaposvár, and then at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where I obtained a Master's degree in art education.

I have studied and tried many different art forms and techniques, but drawing is the closest to me. I usually work with pencil or charcoal, and I also like to paint. When I prepare for an exhibition, I always create according to a specific theme and try to make artworks that challenge me in some way.

In the last fourteen years, I have received many awards, had more than thirty exhibitions, and illustrated twelve books, also taught hundreds of people, to whom I was able to pass my knowledge. Several newspapers and magazines interviewed me.
