Event: The Art of a Hut

An exhibition of about forty drawings framed in native kauri wood. These are drawings of several of the North Island of New Zealand's back country huts along the great network of tramping tracks in the national parks and mountain ranges. For two years with a very good group of supportive friends I embarked on many tramping trips no less that a week at a time and drew each hut we stayed at. Back at home in my studio I also painted several of the huts from the material I had gathered in the field.
Biography
I am an artist and student of the fine arts of drawing and painting in a representational manner. Learning through the works and writings of the greatest masters of the past and today I will continue to be a student of my craft throughout my career.
I live in the beautiful country of New Zealand with my husband and two small children.
