About Ewen Gur

My name's Ewen Gur and I am a French artist currently living in Berlin, Germany. My style is a mix between comics, pop art and graffiti. I'm in the art business since 2007 (my first official art show, in France). I draw since an childhood, mostly inspired by video games and French comics. As far as I can remember, I was always attracted by soft outlines and storytelling. I love to tell / create stories, but I wanted to create something else than small formats on paper, like you expect from a comic artist. It's how I came to art, after watching the movie "Basquiat", directed by Julian Schnabel. Art should be fun, huge, move people. So I started after several years of practice to exhibit my work, in small spaces and after that I came to art galleries. Since the pandemic, selling online is another step in my career and it's why I'm interested in reaching worldwide art lovers.
