    Turp Container

The container that holds my turp is from the Body Shop. It's about 8 years old. It's light weight, doesn't leak, and it originally held some great body lotion or scrub. Sadly, the new O-rings on the new Body Shop containers stretch when they contact turpenoid, and I have had a hard time finding O-rings that fit, so I really hope this one lasts a long, long time.

    Brushes

    Brushes

I have a pretty large collection of brushes, though I only use certain ones almost all the time. When ever I see a good sale or want to try something new.....well you get the idea. I like to organize them by type. Rounds are in one bucket, flats in a second, and soft mongoose and sables in a third.

Me Painting a Portrait of Cuban Woman

Me Painting a Portrait of Cuban Woman

I paint from life and also from photos. The Cuban Woman is a photo that a friend of mine took while he was in Cuba and allowed me to paint. My studio has all kinds of things to remind me of what I need to remember....color wheels, different paint palette choices, notes.....And always music playing in the backround.
