About Elena Pozel
Biography
Over the past 25 years I have been drawing with pastels.
The sensibility of the pastel technique helps me feel and express the fragility of nature which I adore.
In my drawings you can find the beauty of floral designs. I am inspired by the ever changing nature of the landscape and flowers as objects which I reveal with
the help of pastel techniques capturing light and shadows in my works.
Graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts Graphics and Book
Illustration Department I combine meticulous graphic lines with soft pastel crayon.
Currently I am working on a series of flower drawings, and through my art I want people to notice and appreciate there markable beauty of nature.
