About Elena Gaivoronskaia

  • Biography
Hi! My name is Elena. I am a watercolor artist from Moscow. I started creating my artworks because I am overwhelmed with inspiration. I want to show people how I see it personally. I also draw with oil pastels, ink, and graphite pencils. But most of all I love watercolors. I think that only watercolor technique can convey the beauty of clouds, sunsets, water and reflections due to its transparency. My inspiration is just walking around the city and traveling with the plein air. I'm a member of the International Federation of Watercolorists and take part in many exhibitions in Moscow and abroad. This is very important to me because I want to share my work with people around the world. My paintings are kept in private collections in the USA, Europe and Russia. I hope you like my work! Enjoy your viewing!
