Divna Jelenković about her cycle of paintings "Organism of the Space":
"The Idea of the ORGANISM OF THE SPACE comprises the processes of CREATION, DESTRUKTION AND RENOVATION OF THE CITY as a principle of the architecture of the mind.
With a gesture of initials, cryptograms, I am recording the continual message of thought's resonance.
The gesture of the hand, as an oscillator, assembles the structures made of clusters of light beams in spherical form. They open the gates to unknown spaces, forever resonation in all directions of spiral systems.
The light forms are invariably shifting, moving, attracted by the forces of an invisible center.
The uniqueness, the individuality of the visual thinking is contained in a PERSONAL WORK, which deciphers the general principles of movement of the CONTINUUM.
The expressive hand fuses a biorhythm with the energy of the totality, forming and organizing the space as the organic essence of a living organism - THE UNIVERSAL BEING."
Divna Jelenković, Painter
"What is this?" - Plato asked his students while drawing something in the sand with a stick. "It's a circle." "No, no... This is an imperfect shape that only resembles a circle... The circle is an idea." "And are these the paintings of Divna Jelenkovic?" "Of course not... Her true paintings are invisible."
