About Diana Dabinett
Biography
Painting in watercolours is my passion. Ever since the early eighties I have painted and experimented with watercolours, for me the most exciting and challenging of all painting mediums.
Almost entirely ‘self taught’ I continue to push the boundaries, difficult subjects, different techniques, always learning. Watercolour painting for me is still an adventure.
Throughout a varied life of – teaching in Lancashire, England, crofting in the North of Scotland, running a Boarding kennels and a motorbike tours business, watercolour painting has been my one constant. Always there, always important!
Now living and working in France as a professional artist for the last 14 years, home is a wonderful, medieval nobleman’s house; formerly called “ La Petite Cote” now simply 6 Rue du General de Gaulle. A house full of history, creativity, and tranquillity.
For me. The magic goes on!
