All great, Denise was very communicative which was nice Image on line made the background look greyer than it is but the actual picture is fabulous

Thank you for your review. I am delighted that you are happy with your purchase. I have taken your comment on board and will try to explain some of the limitations regarding the online image and being fully aware that many monitors/screens can vary. After reviewing the image online of the white paper, it does seem to appear to be more greyed probably due to a number of factors. The actual off-white colour of the paper next to the stark white online background does create a darkening affect and probably appears more so with a low contrast, graphite greyed painting. Also, the photo was taken under natural outdoor lighting as an attempt to keep the actual painting’s colouring as accurate as possible (unfortunately I do not have access to a professional photographic studio) and adding to this, I do not alter images in an attempt to artificially enhance as I feel it to be a deceptive practice. I do feel that the actual painting itself is of correct colour/tonal value and if I had attempted to brighten the background it would have altered the actual painting. I really do care about my work, how it appears and my customers and try give my very best and can only offer my sincerest apologies if I have fallen short in any way. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I will try to improve on this in future, where possible and I shall add colour of paper to the description if there is a possibility of ambiguity. What a great way to buy artwork, as they say "buy from a living artist, the dead ones don't need your money". The selection was amazing overall but then if you like the style of a particular artist all their work is available for you to look at. I found the image color pretty close to what I saw on my (10 year old) laptop. Delivery on this piece was international..I think it took a little under 2 weeks to get to me. The packaging was excellent. Yes, I am very happy with this experience and my new watercolor.

I am so delighted with this wonderful moody watercolour of Whitby harbour; Denise has perfectly captured the dark thundery skies which often sit over Whitby, and when I look at my new painting, I am instantly there, looking towards the swingbridge and checking I've got a brolly with me. Absolutely thrilled with my new watercolour - thank you also for taking such care with the packaging.

I ordered this during the COVID-19 lockdown and I was amazed at how quickly it arrived. The picture online was an accurate reflection of the original but the depth of colour in the original is wonderful and I love it even more than I expected to. I highly recommend Denise for her work and also her efficiency at getting her art to me.

Seller was kind enough to inform me about a slight delay in shipping, but the painting still arrived ahead of schedule. It was very well-packaged and looks wonderful. I am very happy with everything.

Painting was extremely well packaged and shipped quickly. It beat the estimated delivery by 3 days even internationally. Denise was also very responsible to messages, and the art itself is beautiful.
