About Dee Ryan

Colour and blends are what speak to me.  To have movement and flow on the canvas, or in my resin art, is what I look to achieve.  I love the coastal areas of Australia so a lot of my work has a beachy look so you can have a touch of the ocean and sea no matter where you live.  Often I have an idea of what I will create, yet when the paint hits the canvas, it takes on a life of its own and the end result can be different to my original image in my mind.  All of my abstract pieces are one off designs and no one will ever have another the same.  I paint using mixed media on stretched canvas, ready to hang on your wall, or I use resin on timber adding pigments and dyes for a glass like, smooth result.  I hope you enjoy looking at my work.
