    Capturing the colours, textures and dynamism of the Scottish landscapes and seascapes is my intent. The mood and movements of the ever changing scenery. The changing light refracting through the clouds, showers and torrents moving over the hills and sea. Loch’s, forests, munro’s, moorlands, beaches, cliff’s and croft’s… North, South, East & West – Scotland holds so much…

    Vibrant art...

    I use whichever media I feel can portray the pictures in my head. Watercolour, acrylic, ink… I love to use oil transfer technique – famously used by Paul Klee, a major influence of mine… And I love blend juxtaposed colours in unusual cryptic tangles, inspired by another favourite of mine, Barbara Rae.

With an amazing micro-climate with clear blue skies and seas Incredible expansive views from the tip of the Northumberland coast thru Berwickshire, The Isle of May, Bass Rock, East Lothian including the striking North Berwick Law and Lammermuir Hills. To the South West is Edinburgh and the Pentland Hills.
