Individual exhibition of painting and graphics.
Daria Bidzińska (born in 1993) is studying graphic art at the Katowice Academy of Fine Arts. It specializes mainly in lithography, oil painting, anatomical drawing and children's illustration.
In the series of realistic portraits maintained in the classic spirit, she confronts, investigates and observes tensions in the image-recipient relationship. In addition to the workshop, the interaction between the portrayed and the viewer, hypnotic visual contact and mutual violation of the personal space are important.

The O! Pięknie exhibition consists of works that do not put the recipient in a perfect workshop, they seduce with their beauty.
Reflection appears in their case after a moment and concerns important matters fundamental to our functioning in the world - globalization, faith, post-facts, history and ecology. Presented images, collages, graphics and film allow you to look multidimensional to beauty, to see its diversity and to experience the beauty of the surrounding reality without doing it in a naive way ....

Biography
In my portraits I try to confront, explore and observe relation's tensions between painting and recipient. For me extremely important is interaction between model and observer, hipnotic eye contact and mutual crossing of personal space. My lithograpies and digital graphics are in some way visualisations of pictures I see often under my lids, freeze-frames that always return in dreams - like unresonable fears, nostalgic memories, subconcious desires or longing for non-existing places.
Making art is like my everyday dream job. I think it's important to find self courage and confront your works with audience by publishing it on different types of media. For sharing your works with the world and finding inspirations in others.
