The Ayot St Lawrence Art Show started in 1974, and each year attracts many hundreds of visitors. It is held in the Palladian church, with a wide variety of art styles displayed on well-constructed display stands. In addition to the framed art available for sale, there is a much sought-after selection of unframed art, and in 2015 a selection of art-based greetings cards designed by the artists. Dates for 2015 are Saturday 6th June to Monday 8th June.
Event: Annual Exhibition of the Association of Animal Artists 2015
Dates: 10 Apr 2015 - 17 May 2015
Exhibitions by ‘The Association of Animal Artists’ are fast becoming essential viewing for all those with a love of the animal kingdom and the art that celebrates it. AAA artists are unique in that they create work of all animals (not just wildlife), whether in the air, on land or in water, in any medium or style, and they are positively encouraged to explore and enjoy their creativity.
This leads to varied, dynamic and stimulating, yet sensitive, exhibitions full of outstanding examples of animal art from both award-winning professionals to talented amateur artists with an abiding passion for art and for animals of all kinds.
Our celebration of the natural world will hopefully encourage visitors to SEE, and not just to look, and also offers the chance to purchase beautiful examples of this important contemporary art form whilst raising funds for AAA conservation and animal charity partners – a truly satisfying experience on both an artistic and emotional level.’
Dr Julie Cross, Curator, AAA Annual Exhibition 2014.

Biography
My early progress has been boosted by success such as reaching finalist stage in the beginners section of the SAA Artist of the Year 2011 and again in Britain’s Got Artists 2012.
In 2014 I also achieved a personal goal - I finished my Pet Portrait Course with distinction and can blame our chickens for that. We aquired a few chickens ourselves and also own two beautiful cats.
In 2016 I started to paint more from the head rather than from photos. Imagination and the need to tell a story with my work has become my new focus. I still do animal commissions so please don't hesitate to contact me.
