Thank you for your kind words Jamie, it was good to meet you and have a little chat. You might be interested in another painting of the Ouse, this time of the hire boats at Lendal Bridge. I just put it on Artfinder today. Also, I am in the process of adding the option of a giclee print of my paintings.

Just what I wanted. Most Staithes Art is of the village and harbour, this is Cowbar Bank and the middle cottage belonged to a dear friend of my late Grandmother in Law. Now framed and a satisfied customer. Michael S

Colin responded promptly to my message and the painting was sent without delay. The subject of the painting is a boat that is dear to my husbands heart and it will make a splendid Christmas gift for him. He was sent a link to the painting and admired it, saying it captured the spirit of the vessel - now in need of some restoration - and the wonderful location. It's a view we know well.
