    Some paintings in the studio

    My paintings move around the studio. I sometimes work on the wall with them latched onto pins, or I might move one onto the easel. Sometimes I move them into doorway to see them in a different light. These two are called 'Morning in Tavira' and 'These paths I know.'

    These are messy and heavy with layers of oil paint. I love the textures and the smell of the linseed oil that I use. Sometimes people have likened these to paintings themselves!

    In the studio

    In the studio

    My studio in Brighton is in an old stable block a short walk from the beach in Hove. It's full of my oil paints and canvases and like turning on the music and getting lost in a painting. I usually work on a few canvases at once.
