With formal training as a City Planner/Urban Designer, I have always been drawn to cities and the built environment. Over the years I developed my practice and passion for Plein Air watercolor painting. My goal is to capture the essence of a space or place-to capture those spontaneous moments that make great places great. By painting or sketching a subject you become innately aware of the details and intricacies that make a space unique and feel utterly like itself. I love the watercolor medium because of its portability, how quickly I can work and the beauty of simplifying a subject down to its bare essence. I want to sell on ArtFinder to gain more exposure and take my art career to the next level.
