    Sometimes I sketch, sometimes I just prefer to draw in the canvas with out planning and see where it takes me. In this case, I am sketching in an after party because so many amazing stories and interactions can happen in one evening that the best way to keep them safe to use in a future painting is sketching the night and the wild talks.

    Just Having a Great Time

    Being a painter is like having home work for the rest of your life. So you better feel that you are having a great time while working at home or at your studio, not doing some boring math home work for the sake of a passing grade. No, even when you are suffering, stuck, sitting with no inspiration or stressed because you cant get the perspective or scales correctly, you better know that there is nothing more satisfying and amazing than finishing a work of art, stepping a couple of feet away from it, and thinking..."I finished it".
