Biography
Arevik Gasparyan, born on April 28, 1985, in Yerevan, Armenia, is a multidisciplinary artist and designer known for her innovative approach to decorative and applied arts. Her journey into the arts began early, with studies at the National Center of Aesthetics under H. Igityan in 1997. She later graduated from the decorative-applied art department of the college studio in 2001 and pursued her education at the Armenian Open University, specializing in Clothing Modeling and Design in the L. Kalashyan Department, where she graduated in 2005.
Gasparyan has held various roles in design and education, including her position as head of the Modeling and Design Department at the Educational and Scientific Production Center in Nor Nork from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, she advanced to lead the Design and Painting Group at the Nor Nork Culture Center, where she continues to inspire students and foster artistic talent.
Throughout her career, Gasparyan has showcased her artwork in numerous exhibitions, both nationally and within the Armenian arts community. Her exhibitions include a solo show of four paintings at the State Gallery in 2004, participation in the "Day of Lovers" exhibit organized by the World Union of Young Artists in 2008, and the "Spring Melody" exhibition held by the Union of Artists of the Republic of Armenia in 2009. Her work has also featured in significant graphic arts showcases, such as the 2010 and 2013 Republican exhibitions, where she exhibited works like Sunny Dance.
Arevik Gasparyan’s dedication to art and design has made her a respected figure in Armenia’s creative community, where her work bridges decorative arts, clothing design, and fine art.
