About Caroline Lowe

  • Biography
My abstract paintings are inspired by light, colour and the pure application of paint. I am intrigued by how we perceive, and our emotional response to visual sensations and the illusions that paint can create. This leads to work that develops through layers of experimentation and discernment, with each mark creating a history and narrative. Sometimes eluding to a realistic scene and often expressive and colourful.
