About Shaun Burgess
Biography
Shaun Burgess was born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England where he still lives with his wife and three children. He is a self-taught artist and works from a studio at the bottom of his garden.
Shaun works in oils where his natural tendency towards realism and order is offset with an urge to create contradiction via abstract marks and colour. He takes inspiration from disrupted realism enjoying the form, interest and movement the style offers him.
Shaun is a panel selected member of both Ipswich Art Society and Suffolk Art Society.
His works are sold via online and physical galleries leading to pieces being shipped to collectors worldwide.
