About Bryn Humphreys

  • Biography

I’ve been a professional artist since 2004. My studio occupies two rooms at my home. These two rooms have recently been re-developed as a studio and galley which I open up by appointment and also for the annual Open Studios event here on Anglesey where people can drop in, have a cuppa and chat about my work and buy original work and also giclee prints.

My great influences are the works of JMW Turner and Claude Monet, but tend to also paint the more traditional landscape style for some of the more local scenes as these are my bread and butter which garner the most interest from local art collectors and the tourism industry. My influence from Turner lends itself to my great love of big skies which you’ll see in some of my new work starting to appear on Artfinder.
