Event: Apricity
Dates: 24 Aug 2023 - 30 Aug 2023
"Apricity" is a rarely used English word that refers to the feeling of the warmth of the sun's rays on cold winter days, especially when felt on the face.
The strength of a woman, like the sun, can provide warmth, support and courage to people in their most difficult moments. Just as "apricity" softens the cold, so a woman can make the world a better place with her existence, her colors and her empathy.

Biography
Branka is a self-taught fine art painter born in Sibenik, Croatia.
Sketching, drawing, doodling since she remember. But it wasn’t meant for her to follow that dream. It was never a right time for Art in these parts of the world, especially for girls. Painting was not considered as something worth spending time on.
For almost 35 years Branka had to forget about art. Finally, she’ve decided to stand up for herself and let the colours burst out. Working hard every day to catch the lost time and teach herself how to paint. For the first time in her life, she’ve found courage to show her work in public. For past five years she’s living her dream.
Branka's paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in UK and U.S.A. Her "eternal search for the perfectly-imperfect" takes form through the translation of the indestructible spirit of women, where she finds her inspiration. Branka's emotive figurative compositions "burst with color" and are created using acrylics on canvas.
-Delivered art to UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Australia, Hong Kong, U.S.A., Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc.
-Illustrated posters for concerts of classical music, illustrated book covers.
-Received awards on international juried competitions.
-Displayed work through international art galleries.
