Biography
I’m a London-based artist and entirely self-taught. I have had two solo exhibitions in London as well as exhibiting individual prints in shows at the Space Gallery in Hackney and the Candid Arts Trust at Kings Cross.
My print "Thug LIfe" featured in the RA Summer Exhibition 2018 and is now sold out.
My prints are characterised by an immediacy of process and an urgency of vision, with life often observed from an unusual angle. I try to make the most of the medium, using the starkness and simplicity of black and white, though lately some colour has been creeping in.
Most of the images come from sudden unusual moments in otherwise ordinary, mundane, everyday life in the street or launderette or park. My style is continuously changing and developing, so if there's nothing for you today, come back next week!
My prints are original, signed and produced in short print runs of up to 50 with archival inks on 300gsm Somerset paper.
