About Barbara Mazur

I create paintings and graphics, mainly oil painting, watercolour, monotype. Since 2000 I have been working on series of oil painting ,, Around baroque". It contains pastiche big size format and refer to spanish and holland baroque. I work on the contrast between the two of them.In oil painting I'm genneraly interestet in telling stories by objects and static, ungeometrical abstractoin. Collaterally my abstract watrecolours inspirations are landscapes, nature (flowers) and children's portrait. I also use mixed technique like monotype with oil mainly abstract compositions.

I graduated the Institute of Fine Arts at the  University of Zielona Góra i Poland. My intersted in artistic- pedagogical expanded among other things, taking twice participation in the International Academy of the Art of InSEA and  Qalification Course with oligofrenopedagogy.  I studied with the pioneers of Art Therapy and Creative Education Workshop in Poland. I'm working with children, youth and adults  for example lending numerous workshops, artisctic workshops, creative education for example in  Humanistic Hight School. I'm working also  in a primary school leading art lessons, technical activities and art classes with elements of art therapy.

I had participated and co-orgenized numerous exhibitions and workshops in the galleries, artictic centers and associations, among others: Center for Contemporary Art in Gdańsk, the Association of New Port Art , Gallery Blik
