About BARBARA HARLOW

  • Biography
I am a self taught artist with the help of  two very good local tutors along the way. Being a country girl at heart the open landscape of the fens has always fascinated and inspired me. The wide open skies and the pull and sounds of the reeds blowing in the wind. I try to capture the light and atmosphere of the scene.  Being a gardener, flowers often feature in my work too. I work in all mediums with oil being my first choice.
