About Bahareh Kamankesh

Bahareh Kamankesh is a Los Angeles based artist. She is a realist painter with a strong touch of expressionism. Bahareh is active in many areas of fine art and visual arts such as drawing, painting, animation, graphic design, photography, and illustration. Her passion is figurative arts and life drawing. She has her unique style of storytelling in her works, by creating dramatic backgrounds and showing off dynamic gestures, using her significant brush and charcoal strokes. She started her artistic studies when she was only 13 years old.
Bahareh was born in Iran, Tehran. She earned her bachelor’s degree of fine arts from “Azad University of Tehran”. She continued her education in “Sapienza University of Rome, Italy” in architecture major.During her professional life, she has been involved in various art events and exhibitions all around the world, mostly in Tehran and Los Angeles.She has been working as background and coloring artist in few short animation movies and projects.
She is still taking advance courses in painting in one of the best private fine arts schools of Los Angeles, “LAAFA Art School” with a group of famous and successful masters and instructor.
