  • Biography
     The Arts for Animals' menagerie of work come from a small cottage workshop, deep within the Forest of Dean.

    The work is all hand stitched, carved, printed and painted by one lass (chivied on by her 6 chickens) with much love and great attention to detail. The natural world is her inspiration-as you can see :)

    Gouache, Indian ink, fineliners, printing ink and embroidery thread are some of my main mediums and I love using GOLD in as much as I can! I make every effort to choose materials which have the smallest ecological footprint, such as recycled paper, waterbased ink and locally made products. All of my packaging is recyclable or biodegradable. 

    I enjoy painting landscapes, animal portraits and dream scenes and have a graphic, illustrative style to my work. 

    I heartily love commissions, so if there is a particular animal or scene you feel is missing please get in touch.
