Biography
Armen Vahramyan, born on May 10, 1968, in the village of Ardvi, Armenia, is an acclaimed Armenian artist known for his work in miniature art and graphic design. Vahramyan’s formal training began at the Yerevan Fine Arts College after M. Saryan, where he graduated from the Department of Miniature Art in 1989. Continuing his artistic journey, he pursued advanced studies at the Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Theatre, graduating in 1994 with a specialization in Graphics. His commitment to the Armenian art community was solidified when he became a member of the Artists' Union of Armenia in 2000.
Over his career, Vahramyan has exhibited his works both locally and internationally. His notable exhibitions include showcases in Barcelona, Spain (1998), and New York, USA (1999, 2009, 2010), with additional exhibitions in Zherona, Spain; Glasgow, Scotland; and Iklin, Malta. His works have graced prestigious venues like the Marc Chagall Gallery in Amsterdam (2001), the UN Office in Yerevan (2004), and the Vendom Gallery in Paris (2007). Vahramyan has also represented Armenian art at the Butterfly Museum and Silvana Gallery in New York and has had solo exhibitions at SO Galerie in Malta and the Centre of Popular Creation in Yerevan.
With a distinctive style rooted in Armenian cultural motifs and the delicate intricacy of miniature and graphic arts, Armen Vahramyan has built a respected career. His works, which are housed in private collections and international galleries, continue to inspire audiences worldwide with their precision, cultural depth, and artistic flair.
