Biography
Arman Hayrapetyan is an Armenian artist whose dedication to visual arts began during his school years in Sisian, Armenia. From 1998 to 2006, he attended Uytsi Secondary School, alongside studies at the Sisian Art School from 2001 to 2006. He furthered his artistic education at the prestigious Yerevan State College of Fine Arts after Panos Terlemezyan, where he studied from 2006 to 2013.
Hayrapetyan has actively participated in numerous exhibitions, showcasing his expressive approach to Armenian history and culture. His notable exhibitions include the 2004 Talking about the Earthquake through Our Pictures competition at the National Gallery of Armenia, where he contributed works that resonated with national heritage and memory. In 2011, he participated in an exhibition dedicated to Armenian activist Movses Gyorgisyan at the RA Union of Artists. Other exhibitions include the Narek Arushanyan Award showcase in 2012, a tribute to the Liberation of the Bastille at the DalA Showroom, and the Exhibition named after the President in 2013. His works were also featured in the New Art Exhibition at the Union of Artists in 2015, solidifying his place in Armenia’s contemporary art scene.
Known for his evocative themes and technique, Hayrapetyan continues to contribute meaningfully to Armenian art, bringing historical and cultural narratives to life through his works.
