  • Biography

    Ara Gasparyan, born on November 15, 1990, is an Armenian artist whose work in applied arts and painting reflects a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques. He began his artistic training at the Art School after Komitas Karapetyan in Vardenis, where he developed a foundation in visual arts. In 2007, he was accepted into the Department of Applied Arts at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, where he participated in youth exhibitions, marking his entry into Armenia’s art scene.

    Upon graduating in 2012, Gasparyan sought to further refine his skills by working in the studios of well-known Armenian artists. He spent significant time under the mentorship of the renowned artist Lems Nersisyan, where he immersed himself in advanced techniques and deepened his artistic expression. His works embody the experience gained from both academic training and mentorship, bringing a distinctive voice to Armenian applied and fine arts.
