About Antoh Mansueto

  • Biography

I have painted since I was 10 years old. Later I studied physics and worked as a financial analyst, but I ever painted as my first ever passion.

My 2019 exhibition in Rome in Villa Borghese was "DISTRUZIONE CREATIVA". Hey, I was just on time... in fact, what is the terrible epidemic 2020, if not a creative destruction?

In Milano, I had the luck to have a great master: Bruno Munari (1907/1998). Great masters are people who destroyed a way to do art, and created a new one. Continuously, artist needs to create new languages to express. Don't stop at one style. But ever express yourself truly.

So, I enjoy art with simple eyes, but doing art I express my intuitions about life. My exhibitions talk about; 1) MULTIVERSE, the shape of the whole world and our "multi-society", 2) KRONOID, a word I did to describe the changing shape of time, and 3) CREATIVE DESTRUCTION (dramatic rule of nature and of the artistic creation).

We all need a dream. Art remains forever my dream and first love. I will share with you canvases, watercolors, recycled wood works, drawings. We artists need to sell to fund our new art projects: thanks to buyers, art can grow up!

Venue: Ex Studio Piero Manzoni - Studio Zecchillo, Milano, Via Fiori Chiari 16

My first exhibition after the lockdown. Sospeso, means "suspended". It was the life at the time of coronavirus. I had a part of lockdown close to the sea. Light, sun, sand, sea and nothing else: I was suspended in a luminous lethargy waiting for a new future.

    Event: Distruzione Creativa

    Dates: 13 Jun 2019 - 15 Sep 2019

Venue: Casina di Raffaello, Villa Borghese, Rome, Italy

It was a 3 months large solo show, about 50 artworks, most of them canvasses, but even waste wood pieces, alluminium, pvc, paper artworks.
Distruzione Crativa (Creative Destruction) was even completed by workshops: people could destroy my drawings or temporary wood sculptures ad use the fragmenst to create their artworks.
The exhibition was organized by Zetema, the company managing the City of Rome museums.
The subject of the exhibition concerns creativity, but also a law of nature. In some ways, the epidemic that began in 2020 is a creative destruction of nature to the detriment of the human race.
This is a video about the show.
