Biography
Hi, dear art lovers!
My name is Anna. I'm a professional artist in St. Petersburg, Russia. I am a full-time artist because I cannot imagine spending my time without a brush in my hand. I'm a hard-working artist who can't imagine life without painting. I have my own studio in St. Petersburg, where I paint every day. My paintings are mostly made in the style of realism, which sometimes turns into abstract realism. It depends on my inner aspiration. I am painting emotions and feelings, thoughts, and memories evoked by the object. I am also inspired by the works of the great Aivazovsky. To some extent, I consider him my teacher, more precisely, paintings by Aivazovsky.
In my paintings, I use the traditional multi-layer painting technique. I paint in oil on canvas of gallery quality. I paint in oils because for me it is the most lively, versatile material that gives great opportunities. In addition, oil paints, subject to technology, are the most durable material. Time-tested material. I want my paintings not only to decorate the walls of houses but also to please several generations of my clients. I want to leave my mark on art.
My art cannot be called just seascapes. With my paintings, I strive to convey that even the most difficult situation can be found a way out. That in complete darkness you can find a ray of light that will guide you. There is always something to cling to and move to, even when it seems that there is no way out. After a storm, the sun always comes out and a new sunny day begins. I want my paintings to inspire you to new deeds, to encourage you to move forward!
My paintings are kept in private collections in the USA, United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Germany, etc. I am constantly learning and developing in creativity and I know for sure that I will be doing this all my life.
Thank you for your attention to my matter. I wish you enjoy viewing and purchasing my artworks!
