About Andres Gonzalez Diaz

  • Biography
Since I was a little boy I always had a great inclination towards art. I could say that it runs through my veins, because I grew up watching the art of my uncle Omar D. Guadarrama (painter). When I was 7 years old he told me that I could be an art critic, imagine how many hours I spent watching him paint. In my youth I graduated from the Pablo de la Torriente Brau School of Crafts (Havana, Cuba), from there I began my artistic career. Many years have passed since then, and I now live and work in Miami (Florida, USA). Painting is my home, the explosion of my senses. I never stop learning new things and each painting is a challenge. I love nature in its entire splendor, I absorb its colors to bring them to my palette and in this way transmit to the viewer freshness, tranquility, harmony and satisfaction.
