Ana Magalhães is a multidisciplinary artist based in Portugal, graduated
in Fine Arts from Higher School of Arts and Design, Caldas da Rainha.
The main focus of her work is to give life to the inner world, to
explore the unknown, the complexity of the mind and heart. Creating new
perceptions and new ways of seeing.
She delves into her personal microcosm to produce a unique, poetic and profound visual imagery. This universe is romantic, transporting viewers to intimate and delicate atmospheres where sensitivity and emotions are the primary language. Her work resonates with the powerful essence of being a woman, a men, a human being — political, spiritual, strong, wild, free and with all the dualities that compose them.
Ana’s creations blend organic elements and geometric forms into dreamlike, mysterious surrealist landscapes that inhabit her characters. These environments often reflect themes of love, self-love, friendships, family, empowerment and fertility.
