Biography
Born in upstate New York, attended a Midwest University and is a Fine Artist with a focus on painting, pottery and sculpture. Amy is an active member of several local galleries and shows regularly. She enjoys painting nature and the light reflection, adding texture and movement. Amy travels and interacts with many current artists
to learn. After spending time in upstate New York during her
summers growing up, she acquired a great appreciation of the beautiful colors
of nature in that area. During her career, she taught at the Art
Institute and directed independent studies and classes for children and adults.
After graduating from the University, she worked for more than 20 years in the
Advertising field as a designer and account executive. She has continued to
work as a painter, and jewelry designer, while now focusing primarily on her
painting. Amy has received several University awards and has participated in
various gallery shows, exhibitions and workshops.
