    My studio in 2022

This is how my studio looked a few years back! I’m still in the same studio, but I’ve moved things around and I’m remodeling it a bit. Though it won’t look much different, my space remains colorful and full of paintings. The main difference now is that there are a lot more plants! It’ll be fun to finish the remodel and compare the two versions!

This is me at my first ArtBattle, feeling both terrified and excited for the opportunity. It was a fantastic chance for exposure, incredibly fun, and definitely a new experience!

    One Night Art Show

    One Night Art Show

Another great opportunity to showcase your work and skills! While there aren’t many sales, the exposure is invaluable, especially within the small community of artists. You gain a few followers, commissions, and get to connect with other artists. At this art show, I met my mentor, who later introduced me to the world of mural painting!

    Art Market

    Art Market

Here I am selling my work at a small market. While these markets don't typically result in big sales, they’re great for selling smaller items and an excellent opportunity to get myself out there and gain more followers on social media. It was a valuable learning experience, and I had a lot of fun setting up my space and hanging my paintings. I believe I successfully conveyed what my work is all about!

    Women of Colors

This mural, located in Hamilton, Ontario, is my first project celebrating the beauty and diversity of Black women of all shades. Creating this mural was a deeply personal and exciting experience, as it addresses the challenges I’ve faced being mixed-race and often feeling out of place. When I moved to Toronto, I finally encountered others who shared my experiences, which made me feel more "normal" compared to my time in Mexico, where I rarely saw other mixed black people, especially in the schools I attended. This mural is not just an artistic expression but a representation of mixed-race individuals like myself, embodying the possibility of love and unity between different cultures—a concept that has faced much resistance throughout history. I am grateful for the chance to visually honor our diverse community.
