About Amanda Gosse

My lifelong love of art began during early childhood, with countless hours spent drawing and painting in an abandoned caravan on our family farm. My mother was also an artist and I used to love watching her create artworks in her preferred mediums, paint and pastels. She always encouraged creativity in our home and there was much inspiration to be found in the surrounding countryside; nature is still my main source of inspiration. In the early 1990s, my parents converted an outbuilding and founded an art gallery where local artists and sculptors could show their work. I have always been passionate about birds and wildlife, w which have provided my most compelling subjects of inspiration. My career background is in graphic design and during my spare time I have always drawn and painted, including many signwriting projects. I am now painting professionally and am happy to be part of the Artfinder artist community.
