  • Biography
    Alex has worked as a multi media artist and artist educator for nearly 30 years.

    As Artist in Residence at the Royal Parks in London, working in partnership with the National and Mall Galleries, Alex made an installation about recent scientific research (from Cambridge University plant science department) on precisely how, using which sensory modalities bees are attracted into flowers. Her work is mostly printmaking and sculptural ceramics, and some of her artwork have augmented reality.

    Most recently Alex has been working with the scientists Dr Dave Lawson from Bristol University, and exhibited at University of Bristol Botanic Gardens for the summer of 2021.

    She has since exhibited with the group ‘Pollinating London Together,’ exhibiting at St Vedast Alias-Foster in London, and she has also had a solo exhibition in Brussels at SR art gallery, Rue Watteau, Sablon, Brussels, supported by Low Europe.
