Event: 2017-2022 journey in search of beauty"

The event will consist of an exhibition of my past works ranging: from action painting to abstract expressionism up to the theme of kinetics, through the vision of some everted canvases, inspired by the spatial movement, then by some abstract sculptures and finally, from some experimental, luminous bas-reliefs, which evolve the theme of the passive kinetics of the past, through the use of an active light source, becoming itself the protagonist of the aesthetics of the work.
From a performance point of view, during the days of the event, I will try my hand at creating a painting that will aim to involve the patrons of the exhibition and to express the emotions felt during the experience with the language of signs and colors .

Event: Meeting between artists

The friend Manu Coco, breeder, instructor, entrepreneur, as well as a person who has always been active in the community of Cefalù, has created an event, which aims to bring art and literature closer to the public entitled: "Meeting between artists" .
With a view to a desirable future centered on the development of tourism more attentive to the art and culture of the territory and beyond, this event aims to highlight the various existing potentialities, to create a constructive dialogue aimed at organizing a wider network of contacts with the world of the arts in order to sensitize the community on this important issue rightly considered strategic for the economic development of the territory.
Me of mine, I will try to lend a hand by making an action painting performance with the intent of spreading this simple and extraordinary approach to artistic creation with the intent of intriguing guests.

Biography
Alessandro Butera, artista palermitano autodidatta, trasforma le esperienze di vita in una poetica artistica unica. Cresciuto tra il profumo del pane ei rumori della strada, la sua passione per il disegno sboccia presto, ma la vita lo porta a lavorare nel panificio di famiglia. L'arte, però, rimane una costante. Dopo la perdita della madre, trova conforto nella musica, ma il destino lo riporta al panificio. Nel 1993, la sua vita cambia direzione quando inizia a collaborare con una galleria d'arte, diventando un mercante d'arte di successo.
Per vent'anni, Butera viaggia in lungo e in largo per l'Italia, studiando le biografie dei pittori e affinando la sua sensibilità artistica. Durante questo periodo, viene profondamente influenzato dallo Spazialismo, un movimento artistico che, superando la bidimensionalità della tela, mirava ad esplorare nuove dimensioni dello spazio e della materia. Nel 2013, una domanda cruciale lo spinge a intraprendere la carriera di artista un tempo pieno. Le sue opere, che spaziano dalla pittura all'estroflessione, tecnica cara allo Spazialismo, riflettono la sua esperienza di vita e la sua profonda connessione con la materia e lo spazio. Le sue creazioni sono un invito alla contemplazione, alla riflessione e all'emozione.
Butera ha esposto in numerose mostre personali e collettive in Italia e all'estero, e le sue opere sono presenti in collezioni private e pubbliche. La sua arte è apprezzata per la sua originalità, la sua forza espressiva e la sua capacità di comunicare emozioni profonde.
