Biography
Living in Paris gave me the opportunity to accomplish my dream to paint.
I came from Russia. My artwork sources from my Tatar roots. My mother and grandmother showed me sewing and household decoration. I believe it was my first contact with art.
Self-made, I studied and progressed in several painting technics. At the beginning I was working more in a figurative style through still work, portraits and other compositions.
As I don’t like to be limited to one way of working I experience other styles.
More recently I work more within naïve and fantastic styles.
Then according to my mood, I can come back every so often to figurative style.
When working on a new art piece, I create in my mind a mental world in which I dive. I am in my dreams and there all is simple and fixed as it should be.
When one looks at an art piece, it stimulates their imagination, make them live again their life or part of it that was not as they dreamt it.
I hope my artwork will help people to create their own mental world or help them feel their dream and eventually achieve them.
