About Alan Pergusey

  • Biography
My paintings are about the exploration of the everyday and the magical. I like to make paintings about people and places that are special to me.
A painting will often evolve during the creative process where I aim to extract the most important elements from an encounter with a person or landscape and turn them into an image that is more evocative and emotional than the original experience.
