Painter Agnese Kurzemniece and the art gallery Bazar't invite you to the exhibition "NATURALLY", which can be viewed from January 30 to March 25 in the "THE BOTANIST", Brīvības street 37, Riga.Echoing the idea of THE BOTANIST's indoor gardens, the artist has chosen works for the exhibition that emphasize the search for connection and harmony in man's relationship with nature. Forest, nature, landscape, as well as - the image of a woman - these are two motifs that can be found in many of Agnese paintings and are also present in this exhibition. At the center of each painting is a girl, a portrait of a woman, expressing the author's personal feelings and point of view. On the other hand, the motifs of nature - the forest, the cycles of the seasons, changing moods, light and flowers - are not only a background, but an essential image through which the painter creates emotionally saturated stories. Event: Synergies
Dates: 5 Nov 2019 - 6 Jan 2020
What is synergy? Simply put, the result is greater than the total contribution of the parties involved. Mathematically, it could look like this: 2 + 2 = 5, of course, instead of 5 there can be another value. The result is greater than the sum of the parts. Synergy can unite and unleash the power and potential of human giants. The creative process is difficult to predict - what it will end with or where it will lead. It is also unpredictable that new challenges will be faced.
SYNERGY of our family - it is a feeling of shoulder, support and maintenance of creative spirit. Capturing the senses of life from different points of view and uniting them in one, big and common worldview, working in their respective fields of art.
Event: The Feminine Weaknesses
Dates: 13 May 2013 - 14 Jun 2013
"People don't usually emphasize their weaknesses, but I like to smile about them. Of course, I am not unfamiliar with them. And light irony is an essential means of expression in both form and content. On the other hand, weaknesses are the activities and also the things that in most cases make us happy, improve our mood and maybe even provide inspiration. But it's not really about weaknesses, it's about Women. In art, I have always been interested in the feeling of things rather than the things themselves. The image of a woman has always been the basis of content and form - in various thematic variations and formal interpretations. It gives me endless opportunities to "play" symbols. "
