    Color and structure

Bright colors don't suit me. I prefer neutral colors like grey, beige and white. I achieve contrasts with metallic accents and depths, for which I then choose dark brown, blue or black. In my opinion, textures are also important. In cracks or fine lines, there are always other color nuances that shine through. This brings tension to a motif.

    Tension meets stillness

    Tension meets stillness

I usually paint on the floor or hang my pictures on the wall. Working on an easel doesn't appeal to me. My works are created in several stages and often over several days. I always try not to leave any brushstrokes visible. That's why all kinds of different tools such as a sponge, cloths, paint rollers or even my hands are always a good alternative. I often use water to soften the gradients. I particularly like all kinds of fillers. I often mix my own filler from marble powder and then blow-dry it to create exciting effects on the surface. With the motifs, the effect on the viewer is particularly important to me. On the one hand, the works should be impressive and convey power. On the other hand, I try to visualize peace and comfort. In most of the paintings, a certain tension harmonizes with gentle stillness.
